Job Description

Kroll’s Amsterdam Global Restructuring team (formerly ACE Advisory) is looking for a Manager to support the enhancement of Kroll’s service offerings in the Dutch market. Our expertise lies in the Debt Advisory, M&A and Restructuring areas; with clients varying in size, complexity and context, ranging from family businesses to Private Equity owned companies (turnover between 25mln – 2 billion), across various sectors.

As a Manager within our Global Restructuring practice, you are responsible for the successful execution of various projects. The emphasis lies on flawless financial and strategic analysis. You will lead project teams and collaborate closely with experienced partners. Assignments can vary from managing client-specific projects to overseeing and supporting other projects.

Navigating Responsibilities

  • Leading internal and external financial analyses of companies, including desk research, analyzing internal documentation, and conducting customer interviews.

  • Developing and overseeing the implementation of financing strategies or financing proposals.

  • Validating and creating business plans with a focus on both financial and strategic areas.

  • Managing operational and financial restructuring efforts.

  • Conducting in-depth analysis of various financing and capital issues.

  • Overseeing the development of financial models and liquidity forecasts.

  • Providing expertise on valuation issues.

  • Guiding and managing mergers & acquisitions processes.

  • Preparing comprehensive market and sector analyses.

Essential Traits

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in consultancy, corporate finance, or accountancy.

  • A completed university degree, preferably in a business, economic, or financial field, in law (with financial affinity), or an MBA.

  • Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills.

  • Decisive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

  • Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in Dutch and English.

  • Strong focus on collaboration, assertiveness, and the ability to handle stress well.

  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
