Job Description

If you’re after impact, there’s no other organisation in Australia that delivers work on this scale.

You’ll have the opportunity to use your expertise in communication, problem-solving, empathy and conflict resolution to help thousands of people every day.

In this role, you'll:

Reporting to our Director, Sydney PMO in our Planning, Integration and Passenger portfolio, you will lead reporting, governance and risk management focusing on working with teams to prepare decisions and provide a clear, reliable view of the portfolio for leadership.

You’ll be working with teams to drive effective decision-making by shaping clear recommendations, ensuring the right detail is in place and validated, and putting forward proposals that are ready for decision.

You’ll make sure proposals are supported by consistent cost, scope and risk information, and meet governance requirements and ensure the position that is agreed is what is reflected in reporting.

You’ll provide independent oversight across the portfolio, helping maintain transparency and accountability through consistent reporting, clear governance processes, and effective risk and issue management. This gives executives confidence in the information they are using to make decisions.

This permanent position is located in our Elizabeth Street office in Sydney CBD. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance and approved remote working.

You’ll have advanced analytical capability, able to turn information into clear insights, assurance and practical recommendations combined with experience improving governance, risk and reporting practices, not just maintaining existing processes.
