  • Leads a team of Product Sales Managers selling and servicing the Rolls business area.
  • Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility and other communication within assigned accounts.
  • Secures opportunities to quote on customer requirements within assigned accounts.
  • Overseas and manages the quotation process and supports team in the quotation process and ensure timely follow up with customers.
  • Will resolve communication or pipeline delays from key stakeholders internal and external
  • Review examine and resolve customer complaints
  • Provides market trends and analysis, including competitor activity, lost order tracking, and pricing changes.
  • Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, mill management, etc.).
  • Manages the territory sales forecast/budget for assigned areas
  • Assist in collection of accounts receivable.
  • Assist in data collection/distribution of marketing/sales/product launch
  • Assist in distribution/collection of customer satisfaction survey.
  • Abides by Valmet’s Manager Role competencies and behaviors for impactful leadership
  • Is responsible for tactical and strategic people processes including performance management, succession planning and talent reviews, engagement efforts, development, as well as lead recruiting and onboarding efforts
  • Travel is required for this job.

What you’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Engineering or equivalent with 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in the pulp and paper industry would be an asset
  • Basic knowledge of the paper making process, paper machinery, and paper machine rolls
  • Proven track record of leadership and ability to drive change and continuous improvement
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence others in a positive way
  • Good understanding of sales and marketing
  • Excellent organizational skills, customer oriented, ability to prepare and make presentations
  • Able to travel in the United States and internationally
