Join a growing and dedicated Real Estate team focused on supporting Australia’s dynamic property sector. In this exciting national role, you will engage directly with industry partners, property professionals, real estate agencies, and property technology providers to drive market share growth and further strengthen CommBank's brand and presence across the industry.

You'll work closely with frontline bankers and specialist teams across the country to build real estate sector knowledge and capability, ensuring colleagues remain informed of CommBank solutions, market trends, industry developments, emerging opportunities, and evolving technology and solutions. You'll also collaborate with stakeholders across the Group to influence lending policy, product development, thought leadership, and strategic growth initiatives.

This is a permanent opportunity with interstate travel required.

Impact and Contribution:

Reporting to the Head of CommBank Real Estate, this role is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that grow CommBank's market share, brand presence and commercial outcomes across the Real Estate and Strata sector. The role combines industry expertise, stakeholder influence, strategic partnerships and frontline engagement to drive growth across payments, deposits and lending while shaping the future direction of the CommBank Real Estate proposition.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth, customer acquisition, market share and commercial outcomes across the Real Estate and Strata sector.

  • Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to source and deliver customer insights, inform strategic decisions and develop differentiated solutions that enhance CommBank's market position.

  • Develop strong partnerships with frontline teams to optimise customer experience, portfolio management and also support in customer engagement as industry subject matter expert.

  • Lead the delivery and rollout of strategic initiatives, working with stakeholders to support implementation and adoption across the business.

  • Use customer feedback, complaints and operational insights to identify improvement opportunities and support better customer outcomes.

  • Track business performance and adoption to identify opportunities for improvement and support reporting on key initiatives.

  • Support frontline teams by work collaboratively to develop training, playbooks and sales resources that build capability and improve customer outcomes.

  • Contribute to the achievement of market share, revenue, deposits, lending and payments growth targets for the Real Estate and Strata portfolio, delivered through exceptional customer experience.

Your skills and experience:

  • Proven experience developing and executing growth strategies, identifying market opportunities and delivering commercial outcomes.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate customer, industry and market insights into business growth and proposition enhancements.

  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across customers, industry partners and senior internal stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of the Real Estate, Strata and/or Financial Services sectors, including payments, deposits, lending and risk frameworks.

  • Experience supporting complex customer engagements, transaction structuring and portfolio growth opportunities.

  • Excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • High levels of initiative, accountability and execution focus.

  • Experience in Real Estate, Property, Banking, Financial Services, Credit Risk or Risk Management will be highly regarded.
