Senior Manager, R2R Master Data & Change Management

Location:London Headquarters, UK

Reports to:Head of R2R - GPO

Contract Full-time and permanent position.

We are looking for a Senior Manager, R2R Master Data & Change Managementwhowillbe responsible forsupporting theHead of R2R - GPOwith the stewardship of finance master dataand providing guidance to the global finance community throughout the Chanel Group.You will work closely withvariousGlobalfinance system teamsto ensureconsistentmaster data is used across systems.You will also provide support to local markets, regions and divisions asrequired

Key responsibilities:

  • Support with thestewardshipof the R2R dataissuing regular updates as required and answering COA/SCOA etc related queriesfromvarious markets, including reviewing requests for changes

  • Responsible for drafting of R2R policies and communicating policies to markets and ensuring compliance

  • Determiningthe needs and deliveringR2R Master Data training

  • Ownership ofinformation gathering for new/change requests & queriesanddeterminingand presenting the reason for the change to multiple parties

  • Manage the Release calendar ensuring timeline dates are adheredforsubmissions/issuance of data etc

  • Ensure that any changesrequiredtomaster datais appropriately authorised, documented, madetimelyand communicated to all stakeholders

  • Keep SharePoint updated with the master data files

  • Increase data quality by defining posting profiles

  • Create andmaintainglobal validation rules for the SCOA

  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting standards and regulation, closelycollaboratingwith various teams.

  • Maintain data standards, review dataintegrity,and conduct regular data checks to ensuregooddata governance

  • Develop and implement performance metrics which can be used to make decisions to improve business operational efficiency

  • Bridge with all other system owners (e.g., Concur, CRAFT, Coupa, Master Data Management Tools, etc.,)impactedby changes tothe AX/D365Core Data Model

  • Manage Change Management process and documentation

  • Ad hoc support to the team

Key Competencies

The successful candidate will have:

  • ACA qualification or equivalent

  • Strong operational and technicalaccounting knowledge

  • Good financial process knowledge

  • Understanding of data models, hierarchiesand data relationships

  • Ability to question andcuriosity to understanddetails

  • Proactive, enthusiastic with a strong ability to work independently and within a team

  • Highly organised, withgood timemanagement skills and an ability to multi-task

  • Demonstrate a keen desire to continually learn and grow

  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with others

  • Excellent presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications (Excel,Word,and PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics365desirablebut not essential
