As Senior Manager Quality Excellence you will connect production quality insights with product creation to ensure products meet consumer expectations. You will manage regional product quality claims, and align regularly with the global team. Furthermore, you will translate consumer claim data and testing results into actionable insights for product creation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Claim Management
- Autonomously lead the end-to-end management of product warehouse claims for a defined area of product scope and market region.
- Collaborate with regional quality managers to investigate and determine root cause of quality defects, aligning on suitable corrective actions for improvement
- Assess the scope and potential warehouse claim impact, collecting expert feedback as required and providing analysis to senior leaders.
- Ensure consistent collection of data and storage of key learnings and findings of product defects and claims.
- Train sales oganisations / account warehouse stadd on adidas quality inspection standards and procedures.
- Act as key contact point for global product quality defects for the product area of scope.
Production Quality Insight Sharing
- Analyse product return and quality claim data to identify recurring issues, trends and root causes.
- Translate findings into clear recommendations for product creation and production improvements.
- Regularly communicate and present key learnings, insights and recommendations back to product creation and global quality teams to continually improve future product creation and production quality.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Own the C4C Transfer-in project process and BU communication flow in China.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication and quality alignment execution.
- Ensure timely decision-making, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
- Act as the key interface between BU and supporting functions.

- DC, Sales organisations within Greater China
- Product creation, sourcing, quality and operational teams

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Expert product and manufacturing process knowledge
- Ability to cope with change, make decisions and act comfortably with risk and uncertainty
- Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
- Strong competency in microsoft office tools
- Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Data Analytical skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- College or university degree with focus on product engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in the sporting goods industry, ideally in Sourcing, Development, Commercialization, and Production
