Purpose
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, Quality. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Markham, Ontario.

We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Manager (Regional) to join our Canada East Leadership team in Markham, Ontario. This role will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Quality function across projects and operations in Canada East. This role ensures compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements and client specifications, while driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the office and project management as the Quality focal point for all aspects of project delivery in our Canada East business.
  • Manage the Quality support team for the region and foster growth, development and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee project assessments and surveillances.
  • Provide advice and support, including investigations into unplanned quality events.
  • Promote and monitor adherence to company, customer, and legislative requirements.
  • Build relationships with customer counterparts, customer operational and project personnel.
  • Facilitate functional and project risk and lessons learned workshops, reviews and discussions.
  • Communicate relevant and timely assurance information to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Guides projects and offices in understanding assurance requirements.
  • Helps offices maintain quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001 certification standards.
  • Contributes to Worley’s mission of building a more sustainable world and fostering an inclusive workplace.
  • Oversee both QA and QC programs across multiple projects, ensuring effective planning, execution and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain design quality manuals, policies, and procedures in conformance with the contract requirements.

What you will bring:
Technical and Industry Experience:

  • Senior-level experience in the engineering and procurement industry.
  • Extensive Project Quality Management expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
  • Well-versed in project delivery procedures and methodologies.
  • EPCM project involvement during execution phase (detailed engineering, procurement coordination, construction contract management).
  • Familiarity with the Nuclear sector.
  • Site-based experience in HSS, Quality, or Risk roles on large or complex procurement-driven projects.
  • Understanding of commercial and strategic business drivers.
  • Stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
  • Application of continual improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, Total Quality Management).
  • Workshop facilitation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.

People Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Establish direct working relationships and rapport with all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent management skills, including the ability to plan, set goals, and manage time, priorities, resources, accountabilities, schedule, and costs.
  • Excellent people management skills such as leadership, team, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring and supervisory skills. Must be able to build, motivate, develop, and manage an effective team.
  • Ability to effectively manage and resolve conflict between individuals and/or groups.
  • Leads by example and drives organizational performance by being open to feedback and self-improvement.
  • Encourages others to share the spotlight, visibly celebrates and supports the team.

  • Ability to travel regionally and at times across Canada.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent certification.
  • ISO 9001 training and experience.
  • Formal training in Quality Assurance.
  • Training in Total Quality Management principles.


For applicants based in the province of Ontario, the salary range is $146K to $172K CAD.
