In this role, you'll:

Join the Public Transport Technology Delivery team and provide strategic leadership and end-to-end oversight of the systems, applications and data platforms that support the delivery of public transport services across NSW. You'll lead the planning, delivery and governance of technology improvements, ensuring system performance, resilience and operational outcomes align with organisational objectives and customer needs.

Lead multidisciplinary technical teams (7 direct reports), building capability and fostering a high-performance culture while driving innovation, continuous improvement and the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance service reliability, user experience and operational efficiency.

Provide authoritative advice to senior leaders on technology strategy, system performance, integration opportunities and future capability needs, while managing complex stakeholder relationships across transport modes, programs, suppliers and delivery partners.

Ensure critical technology environments remain secure, resilient and compliant by overseeing operational performance, risk management, vendor governance and regulatory obligations to deliver reliable services for customers and the community.

Fixed term full-time opportunity to 31/07/2028 | South Eveleigh, Sydney | Hybrid work arrangements available.

About you

You are a strategic technology leader with experience managing complex technology platforms, system improvements and operational support within large-scale transport, infrastructure or similarly complex environments.

You bring strong expertise in enterprise systems, data integration, governance and vendor management, with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes in complex stakeholder environments.

An influential and collaborative people leader, you build capable teams, drive innovation and continuous improvement, and translate business needs into technology solutions that improve operational performance and customer outcomes.

You bring industry certifications in IT service management or project delivery.
