In this role, you'll:
Join the Property Development and Divestment (PDD) team situated in the Property Development and Land Access Branch of the Infrastructure Projects and Engineering Division.
Reporting to the Director, Property Development & Divestment, you will lead governance, financial and investment assurance, and portfolio performance across the Property Development and Divestment portfolio.
Be responsible for implementing the Management Framework, establishing supporting portfolio processes and procedures, and driving continuous improvement in the assessment, analysis and reporting of portfolio performance. Acting as portfolio custodian, the role ensures opportunities are strategically identified, rigorously assessed, prioritised and progressed to maximise value for government while protecting transport operations.
This is a key leadership role within the branch, requiring strong commercial judgement, portfolio discipline, and the ability to bring together governance, financial oversight, business planning and performance reporting across a complex and evolving property portfolio.

About you
You are an experienced portfolio, property or investment professional with strong capability in governance, business planning, financial analysis and executive reporting.
You bring a clear understanding of how complex property opportunities are identified, assessed, prioritised and managed across a portfolio environment. You are comfortable operating across strategy, finance, assurance and performance, and can translate complex portfolio information into practical advice and clear recommendations for decision-makers.
You are confident working across multiple teams and functions and are able to build strong cross-branch cooperation to support alignment of objectives, priorities and delivery outcomes across the end-to-end property development and divestment lifecycle.
You bring sound judgement and commercial discipline, and can balance innovation and value creation with transport network protection, operational requirements and broader government objectives.
