McKesson is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Management CoE to lead project management, standards development, and process improvement initiatives initiatives across a complex enterprise environment. This leader will drive project management maturity, business alignment, software delivery planning, and continuous improvement while partnering with technology, business, and vendor stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings expertise in Project management, Planview portfolio management, software roadmap development, change management, and process improvement. This role is responsible for enabling scalable, reliable services that support business outcomes and strategic priorities.
What You'll Do
Lead enterprise project management CoE strategies, roadmaps, and operational improvement initiatives.
Oversee service performance, governance, KPIs, SLAs, risk management, and executive reporting.
Develop and maintain software roadmaps, portfolio plans, deployment strategies, and investment priorities.
Provide expert leadership in Planview portfolio and resource management processes.
Partner with business, technology, and vendor teams to align service delivery with organizational objectives.
Drive change management initiatives that support adoption, operational readiness, and sustainable outcomes.
Lead process improvement efforts using data-driven analysis to increase efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Coach and develop leaders and teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Basic Requirements
9+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, Portfolio Management, Software Delivery, or related technology leadership roles.
1+ years of experience managing multiple teams with independent roadmaps and objectives.
Experience with developing enterprise IT project management standards, governance, KPIs, and SLAs.
Expert-level proficiency with Planview for portfolio, resource, and strategic planning management.
Knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and Agile methodologies
Experience developing and executing software roadmaps, deployment plans, and strategic technology initiatives
Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Experience with enterprise portfolio management, PMO, or digital transformation programs.
Familiarity with organizational Change Management principles and adoption frameworks.
Strong background in process improvement, operational excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience managing large-scale service improvement programs and enterprise governance models.
Exposure to regulated environments and compliance-driven service operations.
Experience overseeing vendor relationships, technology investments, and budget planning.
Advanced executive communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, RTE, SPC, Lean Six Sigma, or Planview certifications.
Travel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Travel up to 10% as business needs require.
Position may be performed in a hybrid or office-based environment based on business requirements.
Ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings and use standard business technology tools.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
