Your role

As Senior Manager Products you will lead the rollout of Bio Blending for Circle K in the Netherlands. This is a new role within our Business Unit, giving you the opportunity to design, and implement coordinated, by the Supply & Trading department, the full Bio Blending and Supply framework and as such setting the strategic direction and building the foundations for long-term success.

In this role you will ensure that the right resources, expertise and processes are in place. As an expert on Bio Blending, you stay fully up to date with Dutch regulations and are responsible for submitting all required reports to the relevant authorities.

Working closely with teams such as Biofuels and Supply & Trading -the actual purchasers of products-, you will identify the most cost-effective ways to meet the bio mandate, estimate annual demand, and act as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the connection process for new HPC supply points, conducting electricity tenders and managing electricity supply contracts in collaboration with the Purchasing department.

Your responsibilities

• Building and leading the Bio Blending & Supply framework within Circle K Netherlands.
• Serving as the expert on Dutch biofuel regulations ensuring compliance and maintaining up-to-date regulatory knowledge. You will be the expert on all ETS2 and REDIII topics.
• Preparing and submitting all required biofuel reports to the relevant authorities.
• Collaborating with the Biofuels team to determine the most cost-efficient approach to meeting the bio mandate and to support EV ticket activities where relevant.
• Acting as the liaison for supply topics related to Supernova, for RDO dealers and between BU Fuels and GF Logistics.
• Owning the LPG Purchase Agreement for the Netherlands.
• Conducting electricity tenders and managing electricity supply contracts in collaboration with the Purchasing department.
• Managing the connection process for new HPC supply points and mediating in the event of disputes or ambiguities.

The ideal Senior Manager Products is a strategic, forward‑thinking leader with expertise in biofuels, regulatory frameworks, and supply operations. You combine strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into clear, actionable strategies. You excel at building cross‑functional relationships, influencing stakeholders, and driving alignment across diverse teams. With a proactive mindset and a high level of ownership, you are comfortable operating in a newly created role and shaping processes from the ground up.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a role in biofuels, energy or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch biofuel regulations, including Bio Blending, ETS2 and RED III.
• Demonstrated experience in a strategic role and the ability to design and implement new frameworks, processes and operational structures.
• Ability to manage complex reporting obligations and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
