The Strategic Partner Management team, who serve as the face of Samsung to some of our most important partners, is recruiting for a Product Specialist to join the team.

The Partner Product Specialist will play a significant role in shaping Samsung’s roadmap of feature priorities across Samsung’s TV and Mobile ecosystems, including but not limited to content discovery tools, voice, and AI services. The ideal candidate will have experience with full-cycle product development within a major technology platform, and will have a deep understanding of the OTT media landscape, media technology trends and evolving business models, and will be able to articulate how those trends will impact Samsung’s services business.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong analytical bent and the ability to navigate and embrace complexity. As the bridge between Product and the market, he/she will need to possess both a Product and BD mindset, and a demonstrated ability to build consensus across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Evaluate product market fit and inform launch decisions based on partner feedback, industry expertise, and data-drive analysis
• Develop the value proposition, partner strategy, marketing materials and product documentation for new products
• Work with Product and Engineering (including Korea HQ) to refine products based on partners’ UX, technical and business needs
• Educate the BD leads and support them in pitching, negotiating, and securing buy-in from partners
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of services, providing regular updates and insights to senior management
• Support Samsung’s business objectives and align partnership priorities with key stakeholders across Visual Display product portfolio.
• Establish frameworks and tools that allow the team to quickly scale new products

  • Excellent presentation, communication, coordination, and creative problem-solving experience
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems, and navigate large, global organizations
