General Summary:
The Senior Manager Product Marketing - Cockpit defines and drives the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and customer-facing messaging for Qualcomm’s automotive cockpit portfolio. Working closely with Product Management, Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Customer Engineering, and regional teams, the role translates market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights into clear value propositions, launch plans, and sales enablement materials that support customer engagements, design wins, and business growth.
Develop and execute product marketing strategies for automotive cockpit platforms, software, and related solutions aligned with business priorities, regional sales goals, and customer program needs.
Translate product capabilities, roadmap priorities, customer requirements, and competitive insights into compelling value propositions, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement content.
Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Customer Engineering, and regional teams to support customer engagements, RFQ/RFI activities, technology workshops, product demonstrations, and executive presentations.
Create and maintain customer-facing product collateral, competitive analysis, launch packages, training content, and internal briefing documents.
Monitor automotive market trends, software-defined vehicle developments, customer platform strategies, and competitive activity to inform product positioning and roadmap priorities.
Support product launches, customer events, business reviews, exhibitions, and sales enablement sessions with differentiated messaging, market context, and structured customer feedback.
Several years of experience in product marketing, product management, technical marketing, business development, or a related function in the semiconductor, automotive electronics, software, or high-technology environment.
Strong understanding of automotive cockpit, infotainment, digital chassis, compute platforms, software-defined vehicle trends, and the automotive customer ecosystem, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and software partners.
Proven ability to develop product positioning, value propositions, launch plans, customer presentations, competitive analysis, and sales enablement materials for complex technical products.
Ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization and align stakeholders across Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Customer Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and regional teams.
Strategic thinking, market orientation, and strong customer focus.
Structured working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities and product initiatives in parallel.
Strong collaboration skills, ownership mindset, attention to detail, and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
