About the role

Scotia Global Asset Management is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Development to join our dynamic and collaborative Product Development team. In this role, you will help shape and execute the next generation of investment solutions—including mutual funds and ETFs—primarily under the Dynamic brand.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

• Build strategic product recommendations using in‑depth research and analysis, including product gap analysis, competitive and fee analysis, market trends, and industry insights.
• Work across product structures and distribution channels, supporting the full product lifecycle from ideation to implementation.
• Project‑manage product initiatives by partnering with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Fund Administration, Distribution, and Investment teams.
• Act as a product subject‑matter expert, providing insight and guidance across the organization.
• Develop clear, differentiated product communications in partnership with Product Marketing, Distribution, and Communications teams.
• Manage relationships with external data providers (such as Morningstar) to ensure product information is accurate and up to date.
• Contribute to a client‑focused culture that deepens relationships and leverages enterprise systems, knowledge, and expertise.
• Ensure adherence to operational, regulatory, compliance, AML/ATF, and conduct‑risk frameworks.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

• Demonstrated success in a similar product development or product management role within asset management or financial services.
• Strong analytical capabilities and leadership experience, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management theory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• An undergraduate degree; being a CFA charterholder or candidate or having other relevant industry designations is an asset.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
