
Transport for NSW is embarking on a bold Procurement Transformation Program. We’re establishing a dedicated, centralised Procurement branch within our Finance, Technology & Commercial Division.
This is a rare opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of procurement in NSW. As we implement a new procurement operating model, you’ll be at the forefront of driving reform and innovation across all procurement functions at Transport for NSW, one of the largest procuring agencies in the country.
This role plays a critical part in strengthening organisational governance, ensuring procurement activities are compliant, ethical, transparent and aligned with policy, legislation and industry best practice.

About you
You are an experienced procurement assurance or compliance leader with deep knowledge of procurement frameworks, legislation and risk management within large, complex organisations, ideally within government. You have proven ability to design and implement controls, assurance programs and compliance activities. You bring strong analytical capability, with the ability to identify compliance issues, assess emerging risks and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
You have strong collaborative leadership capability with experience building and developing high performing teams and a high standard of integrity, professionalism and ethical conduct.
You excel at building relationships across governance, audit, finance and integrity functions and can confidently influence outcomes in environments with diverse levels of procurement maturity. You apply sound judgement, operate with high autonomy and ensure procurement practices consistently uphold ethical, social and sustainability requirements.
You hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Business, Law, Commerce, Finance or Accounting and a have a track record of driving uplift in procurement assurance, compliance and governance
