Compensation
At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is$154,968 - $205,332.60 Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.
Join Our Team as a Senior Manager - Procurement!
The Senior Manager - Procurement leads purchasing execution, ensuring efficient procurement operations, strong supplier performance, and sustained cost optimization. This role is responsible for transforming procurement operating systems, processes, and methods to support procurement excellence across the enterprise.
This role partners closely with Production Material Control teams, Quality, and Sourcing to deliver step-change improvements in procurement execution and supply operating system performance. Working cross functionally and collaboratively across plant locations, finance, value streams, and logistics to drive procurement efficiency and improve supplier performance.
Essential Functions
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, define business processes and lead the implementation of procurement operating practices to enable and improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance lead time and on time delivery performance.
Improve KPIs, reporting mechanisms, and performance dashboards to measure operational effectiveness.
Define enterprise procurement policies, governance and ensure ERP alignment and accountability controls across global organization
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on: EOQ optimization and inventory performance and PO reduction and process efficiency.
Drive data-enabled decision making, leveraging analytics and KPIs to guide strategy and performance improvements.
2nd level supplier negotiation escalation management
Define, plan and execute lead time reduction program
Collaborate with sourcing to define and execute Supplier Health and Risk Mitigation Program.
Collaborating with Sourcing's Annual Supplier Health Assessment - Develop Quarterly Business Review Methods and Execute with top 10 Suppliers
Collaborate with Sourcing, and Supplier Quality to define Enterprise Supplier Performance Management System Guidelines, RACI and Communication Management. Purchasing should push these performance metrics to suppliers once/month. corrective and preventative action plans for top 20 underperforming suppliers
Collaborate with other departments: Corporate Supply Chain Peers, including Global Sourcing, Planning, Inventory & Logistics, and cross functional teams in Value stream production scheduling, and Quality problem-solving activities.
Train and Mentor Purchasing Managers and Buyers; regularly monitoring performance, implement training videos for process reference with detailed tips and associated checklist for proficiency tracking and buyer growth.
Build team capabilities through coaching, structured training, and performance feedback mechanisms
Support and execute cycle counting improvements and Physical Inventory
Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
Education & Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
CSCP, ASCM procurement certification
Preferred
Master’s degree in Supply Chaing Management
