What’s the role?Based in Sydney, Warrane, Gadigal Country, you’ll play a key role shaping how we deliver performance outcomes across Business and Wealth. This role leads cross functional initiatives that improve banker capacity, strengthen customer alignment and lift portfolio value. You’ll use data, insight and clear thinking to design solutions that actually work in practice and stick once they’re live.
A big part of your focus will be customer segmentation. You’ll take ideas from concept through to operational reality, setting clear rules, thresholds and measures that balance business outcomes with customer needs. You’ll keep a close eye on performance once initiatives are live, spotting issues early, testing assumptions and refining approaches using evidence rather than guesswork.
You’ll also be the person who brings clarity to complex problems. That means building decision ready packs, setting out options and recommendations, and supporting governance forums with confidence. Along the way, you’ll help create a one best way approach by strengthening documentation, controls and processes so teams can scale, reuse and deliver consistently.
What do I need?• Experience leading complex, cross functional initiatives using data and structured problem solving
• Strong capability in designing and operationalising customer segmentation or similar analytical frameworks
• Confidence interpreting data, building models, monitoring performance and adjusting logic based on evidence
• Ability to create clear, decision ready materials for senior stakeholders
• A practical mindset focused on repeatable processes, strong controls and sustainable outcomes
