SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll Operations Leadership
- Lead the overall payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across all supported business units and locations.
- Own and execute the payroll strategy, aligning operational performance with business objectives and service level commitments.
- Manage and develop Payroll Team Leads and Payroll Specialists across multiple sites, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
- Establish clear performance expectations, operational metrics, and accountability measures for the payroll organization.
- Ensure payroll operations remain scalable to support organizational growth and expansion.
Payroll Governance and Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain awareness of legislative and regulatory changes and implement necessary process adjustments.
- Oversee payroll audits, internal controls, reconciliations, and risk mitigation activities.
- Ensure accurate administration of government-mandated deductions, contributions, and payroll-related reporting requirements.
Payroll Processing and Systems Management
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, benefits, final pay processing, and off-cycle payroll activities.
- Manage payroll operations utilizing HCM and payroll systems to ensure data integrity and accurate payroll outputs.
- Partner with HRIS, Finance, and Technology teams to optimize payroll system functionality and reporting capabilities.
- Lead payroll system enhancements, process automation initiatives, and technology-driven improvements.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary payroll subject matter expert for business leaders, HR, Finance, Accounting, and Operations partners.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure effective payroll service delivery and issue resolution.
- Manage escalated payroll inquiries, complex employee cases, and operational challenges with professionalism and urgency.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
- Develop and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll performance reports and operational insights.
- Analyze payroll metrics, trends, and service levels to identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on accuracy, compliance, employee experience, and operational effectiveness.
- Drive standardization of payroll processes and best practices across all supported locations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive payroll experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing payroll teams, including Team Leads and/or Managers.
- Mandatory experience managing end-to-end Philippine payroll operations.
- Experience supporting high-volume payroll environments.
- Experience utilizing HCM platforms and payroll systems for payroll processing and reporting.
- Exposure to global payroll operations is highly preferred but not required.
- Experience managing payroll operations across multiple sites or business units is strongly preferred.
Work Conditions
- Hybrid set-up: 4x a week onsite in Taytay, Rizal site / 1x a week WFH
- Mid-shift schedule: 3PM-12 AM; with an expectation of flexibility for business demands
