About the Role

This role is responsible for developing, managing, and activating strategic partnerships and sponsorships that strengthen brand equity, support business growth, and enhance customer engagement. The role will lead the overall management of Corporate and Vitality partnerships, sponsorship programs, and brand activations/events—ensuring alignment with the company’s brand values, health / wellness / ESG initiatives, and overall business objectives. This role also serves as the point person for Medicard marketing, including partnering closely with Medicard stakeholders to support their business objectives.

The position collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact, measurable, and engaging partnerships and initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

LEADERSHIP (20%)

  • Lead and develop the Partnerships and Activations team, ensuring roles are clear, deliverables are met, and team members are supported, coached, and empowered to perform at a high standard.
  • Provide direction and oversight across all partnership, sponsorship, activation, and Medicard marketing initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and seamless execution across internal teams, external partners, and agency collaborators.

PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT (40%)

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, negotiation and onboarding of Corporate and Vitality partners that align with brand values and business priorities.
  • Manage partner organizations, ensuring smooth execution of joint initiatives and fulfilment of partnership commitments.
  • Work with various stakeholders to maximize partnership value and integrate initiatives across customer segments and channels.

SPONSORSHIP STRATEGY, ACTIVATION PLANNING & EXECUTION (20%)

  • Assess, identify, evaluate and recommend sponsorship opportunities that align with company’s strategic goals, leveraging on these sponsorships to generate business lads and conversion.
  • Oversee end-to-end sponsorship strategy and implementation, including contract compliance and ensuring brand visibility and maximum engagement.
  • Develop communication plans to amplify sponsorships across digital, PR, internal communications, and partner channels.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of internal and external events, including but not limited to wellness activities, campaign launches, customer and partner events.
  • Ensure all activations reflect brand standards and offer strong customer and stakeholder experiences.

MEDICARD SUPPORT (15%)

  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for Medicard, working closely with Medicard stakeholders to understand overall business goals and marketing requirements
  • Translate Medicard needs and requirements into brand-aligned marketing campaigns, activations and engagement programs. Coordinate and oversee implementation and execution with internal teams.

BUDGET MANAGEMENT and OTHERS (5%)

  • Lead budget monitoring and tracking, ensuring spend is within budgets.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Business, Marketing, or Liberal Arts course
  • At least 5 years of experience in Marketing: Advertising / Branding / Public Relations / Marketing Communications preferably from a financial services company
  • Good communication skills both written (writing, proofreading, layout and design) and verbal (able to present concepts)
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with keen eye for detail and time management
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and can work under minimal supervision
