The Opportunity

This position is onsite and works out of our Abbott Park, IL location.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Manages teams with focus on policy and strategy implementation in protecting the organization's business interests with short-

term operational/tactical responsibilities.

Leads, directs, evaluates, and develops a team of government relations professionals to ensure that all the organization's dealings

with government agencies are conducted ethically, legally, and according to the organization's policies and standards.

What You'll Work On

• Responsible for implementing the company's policy on public and government affairs within designated area/department,

including relations with authorities, press, institutions and community.

• Oversees the planning of various events, promote and participate in community programs and performs other functions to

improve the company's image.

• Inputs into development of the approach to the organization's position on legislation and regulatory affairs to government level

officials and regulatory agencies.

• Oversees the monitoring of current political trends and supports development of relationships with government representatives.

Basic Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3-5 years in a PAC position of responsibility
• Corporate PAC Experience
• Experience working on a campaign or for an elected official

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of the political process and campaign finance laws
• Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proven success in managing PAC programs and grassroots initiatives
• Experience with PAC management software
• Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, Word

The base pay for this position is

$99,300.00 – $198,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
