As Business Unit AMSL Automotive Solutions & Lamps we support our vision and strategy by expanding our leading position in the automotive lighting market in OEM and Aftermarket. We are in a global leadership position in the automotive lamps business in traditional and LED applications and offer industry leading products in LED lighting to global OEM customers (e.g. with exchangeable LED light sources). We also tackle new growth opportunities in the Aftermarket with our automotive care and equipment portfolio.

Your new responsibilities

• Responsibility for production team set up and continuous development:
• 1.1 Organize the team and set up aggressive targets for KPIs to achieve the business goals defined in Hoshin Kanri workshop.
• 1.2 Monitoring the project schedule and KPIs, and take necessary actions for any deviation.
• 1.3 Motivate and develop a sustainable team to fulfill business development.
• 1.4 Drive the Operational Excellence (OE) activities to support projects launch and teamwork to focus on
• continuous improvements and Problem solving as well as productivities.
• Responsibility for quality assurance:
• 2.1 Implement IATF16949 system to fulfill internal and external customer's requirements.
• 2.2 Define the process and production targets to ensure quality assurance system works well.
• 2.3 Achieve the KPIs related quality and process control.
• Responsibility for cost control
• 3.1 Drive production performance and cost control on utilization of labor & machine efficiency & material shrinkage & energy consumption and maintenance cost.
• 3.2 Lead the productivity (VAM and MCP) activities for cost savings in the projects as well as MS production.
• Responsibility for on time delivery
• 4.1 Drive the production to deliver the right products on-time to satisfy customers.
• 4.2 Drive and optimize the production planning to fulfil the demand and resources utilization.
• 4.3 Working together with supply chain team to control the inventory (WIP).
• 4.4 Working together with project team to achieve the project schedule.
• Responsibility for EHS & Social Responsibility compliance
• 5.1 Cooperate with EHS department to ensure the implementation regarding ISO14001&ISO45001&Social Responsibility.
• 5.2 Consistently improve the working conditions in a clean, tidy, health and safety manner.
• 5.3 Ensure the implementation of company compliance guidelines within responsible area.
• Responsibility for Projects and investment
• 6.1 Cooperate with Engineering team to generate the improvement ideas and productivity activities.
• 6.2 Lead the new products and new capacity introduction to fulfil the business development plan.
• 6.3 Drive the new investment plan to ensure continuous improvement.
• Tasks assigned by management.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor or above education with the major of Mechanical Engineering/Automation Engineering/Physics/Optics /Material etc. .
• 15 years and above experience with LED lighting or LED Packing production and 10 years or above experience as production management.
• Basic knowhow on LED chips / LED materials / COB Equipment / SMT/ LED assembly.
• Essential skills on Production management /Process control /Quality tools and Lean production/TPM.
• Essential skill on project management, such as Quality Gate.
• Fluent English for writing/reading/oral.
