Join us at a pivotal moment of transformation. As the Senior Manager of Software Architecture, you will provide technical leadership and strategic direction for our application and infrastructure architecture, helping shape the future of our technology landscape. This leader will play a critical role in strengthening our modernization capabilities and guiding architecture standards, design, and implementation approaches across the organization. By accelerating key initiatives, including AI enablement, cloud modernization, and product re-platforming in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will help reduce delivery risk on complex programs while ensuring we have the right technology strategy to support continued innovation and growth. In this role, you'll lead a high performing team while remaining engaged in the work, influencing outcomes that have a meaningful impact across the enterprise.

This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Oversees the creation, evaluation and implementation of plans and design proposals for IT solutions and their use involving leading edge technologies and methods considering key factors such as their long-term effectiveness (service delivery and cost), practicality, product, and business unit financial performance, technical limitations and criticality.
  • Oversees the translation of customer business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for solutions and integrating architecture.
  • Acts as an advocate for the customer, as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address customer’s business problems.
  • Oversees the code development for the design/creation of new software products, enhancements, and fixes.
  • Ensures that development projects are consistent with product roadmaps.
  • Ensures all software solutions and enhancements are fully tested, debugged, and meet product quality standards.
  • Analyzes the scope, timeline, specifications, and systems architecture of the requests or tasks. Writes implementation plans for enhancements and fixes.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering or architecture.
  • Minimum of 4 years of people management experience.
  • Experience with developing digital banking applications.
