This position is responsible for the leadership, direction, administration and support of Laundry operations. This position operates with limited supervision by resort senior leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Develop and manage PDPs (Personal Development Plans).
  • Conduct evaluations and provide active coaching to build Brandhearted, guest-facing service staff.
  • Foster a culture of learning and mentorship to support continuous performance development.
  • Evaluate and recommend adjustments to staffing and performance targets.
  • Manage department engagement plans, talent reviews, and succession planning.
  • Adapt and execute predefined guest service strategies, standards, and programs.
  • Implement strategies through daily management of front desk, security, transportation, and/or resort services operations.
  • Lead teams in implementing, evaluating, and improving programs and policies.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and resort assets
  • Maintain compliance with Brand standards, safety protocols, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (including OSHA)
  • Develop departmental budgets and allocate resources to meet financial goals
  • Operate the department within established budgetary guidelines
  • Manage laundry facility operations with moderate to high complexity and/or high-volume demands
  • Oversee performance management within sub-groups or larger teams
  • Directly supervise managers and assistant managers (up to 8)
  • Indirectly supervise supervisors and frontline staff (up to 80)
  • May supervise or provide oversight across multiple locations within a geographic area

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5 years laundry operations management in hospitality.
  • 3 years leading teams.
  • Demonstrated exceptional personal Stay Real service delivery and problem resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate, prevent and solve complex problems, and deliver consistently high-quality results in a fast paced setting.
  • Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license, and minimum of 4 years of safe driving experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Novice level mastery of Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be fluent in English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Will be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and operate office machinery. Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds. Specific work assignments may change without notice. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The majority of work will be performed in a climate-controlled environment, but may be exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature on occasion.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:

Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours.
