Job Description

The Company

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.

We design and deliver Clinical and Consumer products—including G-Series, D-Series, and Stelo—impacting millions of lives worldwide.

GPD partners closely with Product Management and Engineering to create safe, functional, and intuitive products. We are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity.

As our portfolio and organization scale, we are investing in Design Technology to address key operational gaps—including fragmented tooling, manual workflows, and limited infrastructure for AI adoption. • Prototyping High-fidelity interactive prototypes for validation, demos, and usability testing

  • Tooling Internal tools that automate workflows, quality checks, and design-to-development handoffs

  • Front-End Engineering Support Bridging design and engineering through component development and complex UI implementation

  • AI Infrastructure Foundational systems enabling AI-powered design workflows and knowledge management.

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Standardize design artifacts, documentation, and visual quality assurance frameworks; eliminate manual work through automation.

  • Innovate with AI: Lead AI-powered initiatives including single sources of truth (e.g., RAG-based systems), design audit tracking, fidelity validation, and workflow automation.

  • Architect Scalable Solutions: Advance the DexPolaris Design System as a true product language platform through component development, compliance tooling, and automated handoffs.

  • Enable Compliance & Traceability: Implement systems that ensure end-to-end traceability—from product requirements through design decisions to engineering delivery—supporting FDA and global regulatory standards.

  • Improve Design–Dev Collaboration: Reduce friction, rework, and misalignment through shared tooling, prototyping, and integrated workflows.

  • Remove Barriers: Provide strategic direction, resolve obstacles, and align stakeholders across the product development lifecycle.

What makes you successful:

  • Design Technology Leadership: Proven experience building or scaling Design Technology, Design Ops, or Design Systems functions

  • Technical Depth: 15+ years of experience shipping software within product design organizations, with hands-on expertise in front-end technologies and design tooling

  • AI & Automation Mindset: Experience implementing or enabling AI-powered workflows, automation systems, or data-driven design tooling

  • Program Leadership: Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organizations

  • Design Systems Expertise: Experience building or scaling design systems, including component development, governance, and compliance enforcement

  • Operational Excellence: Track record of improving efficiency through tooling, process optimization, and workflow automation

  • Cross-Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of design principles across mobile and web platforms

  • Tool Proficiency: Advanced Figma expertise; strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and modern design/dev toolchains

  • Strategic Problem Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges, balance business and technical constraints, and drive scalable solutions
