Job Description

The CIO team is responsible for new product creation and capital raising, establishing investment vehicles that enable delivery of our development pipeline and the launch of new investment products across Lendlease.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a commercially astute Senior Manager – New Business to play a pivotal role within the CIO team, supporting the creation of market‑leading real estate investment products. Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you will be central to conducting research, analysis and transaction underwriting that drives long‑term value for investors.

This role is well suited to a high‑performing investment professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys turning insights into meaningful action.

What You’ll Be Doing -

  • Contribute to the origination and development of new real estate investment opportunities.

  • Undertake market, sector and thematic research to build robust and data‑driven investment views.

  • Evaluate and screen opportunities, assessing strategic alignment, risks and mitigants.

  • Support due diligence processes and clearly articulate insights for internal investment committees and investors.

  • Work with analysts to develop and interpret detailed financial models and key performance metrics.

  • Prepare investor presentations, capital‑raising materials and internal approval papers.

  • Build trusted relationships with investors, real estate agents, valuers, financiers, lawyers and consultants.

About You:

  • Degree qualified in Business, Commerce, Finance, Property or a related field.

  • 8+ years’ experience in investment banking, corporate finance, investment management, private equity or corporate strategy/development.

  • Strong knowledge of real estate markets, with sector‑specific experience highly regarded.

  • Advanced financial modelling, valuation and analytical capability

  • Strong working knowledge of DCF methodologies, cap rates and valuation multiples.

  • Exceptional communication, collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills.

  • A proactive, self‑driven approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
