Job Title: Senior Manager National Marketing Operations

Role Summary

We are seeking a transformational Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to lead the operational engine powering one of retail’s most prolific marketing organizations. With over 4,000 assets produced monthly and an ambitious roadmap toward AI-driven personalization at scale, this role will be central to how our brand shows up across every customer touchpoint. This role will own the end-to-end workflow infrastructure, including architecting smarter processes, accelerating throughput, and embedding AI-enabled personalization capabilities into the fabric of how our marketing organization works. This is not a maintenance role it is a transformational builder role and seeks someone who sees inefficiency as opportunity. This role ensures the marketing organization operates at peak efficiency, driving business growth, improving ROI, and enabling scalable, high-performing marketing programs. The ideal candidate is both strategic and operational, with a strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, implement best-in-class workflows, and continuously enhance marketing performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing operations strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Lead the continued transformation of the marketing production workflows, moving beyond task management toward intelligent, automated orchestration.
  • Own and evolve Monday.com as the organization’s workflow management platform; including board architecture, automation rules, dependency mapping, and integrating with adjacent tools
  • Identify bottlenecks in the 4,000+ monthly asset pipeline and design scalable solutions that reduce cycle time without sacrificing quality
  • Interpret performance across all marketing initiatives; define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Establish and lead a best-in-class Go-to-Market (GTM) process that accelerates strategic and creative excellence, promotes cross-functional alignment, and provides clear milestones and priorities.
  • Drive budget optimization efforts and identify efficiencies across marketing teams and programs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., CDP, DAM, eCommerce, IT, and external vendors) to ensure seamless technology integration and effective vendor selection.
  • Oversee national product launch alignment, ensuring cohesive execution across all channels and stakeholders.
  • Translate strategic plans into actionable execution through defined workflows, timelines, and collaboration frameworks.
  • Continuously optimize marketing processes, tools, and technologies to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Manage resource planning, including internal teams and external freelancers, ensuring optimal allocation, capacity planning, and efficient execution.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the marketing calendar, ensuring timely briefing, alignment, and delivery of strategic, high-quality campaigns.
  • Review and refine creative and strategic briefs to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment with objectives.
  • Drive adoption and usage of marketing tools and standardized processes across regional and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across processes, metrics, and technology to elevate marketing operations maturity.
  • Define and maintain KPIs for operational health with a focus on throughput, asset accuracy, workflow cycle times, and team capacity utlization
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational pride

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing strategy, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end marketing operations, including campaign execution, analytics, and process optimization.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology ecosystems (e.g., CRM, CDP, DAM, marketing automation platforms).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience defining KPIs, building reports, and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing Go-to-Market frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile or similar workflow methodologies.
  • Experience managing budgets and identifying cost efficiencies.
  • Background in leading marketing transformations or scaling marketing operations.
  • Experience managing Monday.com as a workflow management system is a plus.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or related field) is a plus
