You will be a Senior Manager in the NA Financial Planning & Analysis team, a team responsible for the overall financial reporting and analysis of the P&L of the North America Region.
How you will contribute
You will:
Manage and execute aspects of the financial planning and performance management process, including Annual Contract planning and Strategic Plan (in applicable years) , target setting, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support within NA FP&A.
Drive NA system enhancements to improve efficiencies in ways of working
Help the VP of NA FP&A and the business prepare critical financial data and insight that enable perspectives for business strategies and decisions
Lead projects to identify efficiencies and improvements to ways of working, embracing a mindset of continuous improvement
Ensure a strong control and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of Finance peers and drive our Finance talent agenda within the organization, with a focus on local FP&A pipeline
What you will bring

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including data collection and structuring, analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets
BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market dynamics. Relevant experience in a regional/local business
LEADERSHIP SKILLS including experience with business partnering and communication skills across a large regional or local public company
GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to identify/execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations
Primary Responsibilities:
Month End Close: consolidate, report and present total US P&L performance to Finance Leadership and ensure cross-functional alignment of the P&L analysis
US BU P&L Ownership:
*End to end analysis of Monthly Forecast submission from US BU
*Identify Risks and Opportunities at a Business Driver level to build proposed P&L submission for Corporate
*Leverage Nielsen Consumption information to develop a clear Category level Consumption forecast
*Lead discussion with key financial models to clearly decompose key shipment drivers vs. various benchmarks
Ensure timely and accurate submission of rolling forecast in SAC
Retain oversight of the Advertising & Consumer spend for the NA region in accordance with the A&C taxonomy
Other Activities
Lead the biannual Strategic Progress Indicators process to communicate key KPI performance to NA President and CFO
Own the Monthly calendar for Monthly forecast submissions in alignment with NA FP&A required deliverables for corporate submissions
Other projects as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred
9 or more years of FP&A or commercial finance and/or accounting experience is required
Prior Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is strongly preferred
Experience with business model decisions, problem analysis and resolution
Experience with consumption data analysis preferred
Strong technical skills required (i.e. Advanced Excel)
Experience with SAC, FIT, Tableau and Power BI strongly preferred
Strong strategic and analytical skills
Strong team player who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders
Strong influencing and communication skills, and ability to lead teams
The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
