Job Description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • LRP / Pre-season planning - Marketplace strategy (including defining white space opportunities) across APAC wholesale and DTC covering apparel and accessory biz.
  • Seasonal strategy, line architecture & pricing – Lead category owners and develop/ manage regional line architecture and assortment strategies. Set in-region pricing (with global guidelines & marketplace feedback). Balance different biz environment to align with brand and market objectives.
  • Product line – Lead global line adoption and manage SMU/regional requests, work with marketplace merch team to build APAC product line and tailor regional assortments. Be the bridge between Global and marketplace team to feedback, download and react.
  • Margin and Efficiency. Be responsible for margin strategy and grown SCO efficiency.
  • In-season management – Monitor seasonal products performance, implicate to future assortment strategy. Work with regional Marketing and Planning to deliver financial targets thru pricing strategy and promotion supports.
  • Always on – In their respective category and marketplace responsibility, monitor and code consumer demand trends, using insights to shape planning and assortment decisions. Ad hoc reporting / analysis to support seasonal product decision-making.
  • Regional Relevance: - Work with marketplace team to identify, communicate and drive regional relevance in SMU and other initiatives, such as incremental Capsules etc. including assortment definition, segmentation, customer specific initiatives, EC big moments product support and align need with global functions
  • Coaches and develops Merchandising teams to strengthen team capabilities and drive executional excellence

  • Strong business acumen in channel distribution, gross sales, sellout performance margin, profit and inventory
  • Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or (equivalent)
  • Experience: 10+ years Merchandising, Buying, Sales, Product Management in APAC.
