We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager - Medical Information to join Norgine.
The person holding this position will report to the relevant Medical Affairs leader and be a member of the Medical Affairs organisation.
The core responsibility of the Senior Manager - Medical Information is to support the delivery and oversight of Medical Information services, ensuring high‑quality scientific responses to healthcare professionals and patients. The role includes vendor management, compliance oversight, development and optimisation of Medical Information processes, and the compilation of performance metrics for internal reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Support the delivery and oversight of Medical Information services provided by the Medical Information vendor.
• Support Medical Information governance and compliance by developing and maintaining procedural documents and work instructions.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information enquiries, identifying, researching, and critically evaluating medical literature to create accurate responses.
• Maintain documentation related to Medical Information, including product and contact lists.
• Conduct regular vendor quality checks and audits to ensure scientific accuracy, quality of responses, and adherence to KPIs.
• Contribute to due diligence for out‑partnering projects and support integration of products, partners, and oversight of partner‑provided medical information.
• Compile, analyse, and report metrics, including enquiry volumes, quality measures, response times, and vendor performance.
• Identify trends and insights to drive process efficiencies and inform resource planning.
• Represent Medical Information in inspections and audits as required.
• Contribute to management of the Medical Information operational budget, including forecasting, tracking, and invoice management.
• Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency across Medical Information processes.
Requirements
• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or related field (PharmD, MD, PhD preferred).
• Several years experience in Medical Information within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Expert knowledge of Medical Information requirements and associated regulations.
• Experience managing outsourced vendors with strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to communicate at all organisational levels.
• Strategic, commercial, and analytical mindset.
• Self‑starter who thrives in collaborative environments.
• High attention to detail and strong scientific accuracy.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong intercultural competence and ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
