We are seekinga Senior Manager tosupportour centralized Media Decisioning Team. This Team’sraison d'êtreistobe ananchorforthe wider Investment & Planning Teams This role willcontributea clear understanding ofmedia deliverythat will become the source ofprimary decision-making.
In this role, you will source,assessand recommend the rightmedia data tobe used forchannel and tactical choices. You will also report on cross‑brand media deliverytoestablishexpected outcomesand interpret the findings todevelop generalizableactivation principles.
The ideal candidate has experience in media planning and/or buying and enjoys working with large data sets.Someone looking for a transition from frontline Planning or Activation, and into a more analytical rolewould thrive.You should beconfident inmaking media recommendations and skilled atidentifyingthe data needed to solve specific problems.This role will be guiding Activation teams and will need to be able to speak in a ‘media-language’ andbe able to provide clarity aroundcause-and-effectfrom moving different media levels.
This role is about deciding which data matters and how to use it to make better media decisions. It is not apuredata‑provision or reporting role. It is about translatingdatainto media recommendations
Responsibilities
Overseecompletion and delivery ofnumerousreoccurring media reports, including weekly/monthly brand delivery reports, monthly/quarterly investment summaries
Accountable forquality assuranceof junior member of the team, ensuringaccuracyand timeliness
Will requirechecking data againstsource of truthsystems (ad servers, Nielsen,1P buying platforms, etc.)
Createanalysis, both regular and ad hoc, to providebenchmarks,summariesand analyticalobservationsto Planning & Investment teams, meant to improve quality of media plans/buys
Serve as internal consultant topeers on cross functional teamstoassistinproblem solving, brainstorming, or test design
Responsible forvarious deliverables across theclientportfolio including
Overseeing junior team members’ delivery of routine media delivery reports
Taking on projects to develop standardized benchmarks and recommendations, summarized from delivered or 3rdParty data
Completion of these tasks will requirepulling, organizing, and formatting oflarge data setsand understanding theirimportance tointernal/client teams,in order toanticipatequestionsandadditionalneeds
SupportVP & Director indevelopinga suite ofMedia Guidance, inclusive of industry trend analysis and benchmarking, portfoliodeliveryand process audits
Ability to independentlyconceive and pitchtopics for future projects to VP & Director
Researching, and pulling market data, organizing this data,comparing to P&G’s owndata,and compiling findings
Maintaining industry trending reportsthatwill be used to supportbroader projects
Craft brief forandguideour Data Operations teamto produce new reports/dashboards/tools that aid in the maintenance of the account
Serveas project manager to ensure end-product meets need of intended users
Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics or related quantitative field required
5+ years of experience ineither/both media planning and/or investment
Knowledge of Reach-based planning and sound media fundamentals is necessary
Experience withLinear TVis a plus
Abachelor's degree in Statistics,Economicsor a related quantitative field
Intermediate knowledge of Excel for data compilation, calculation, and automation
Strong communication& leadershipskills
Ability todistillthe complexity ofoneteam’sdiscipline into aneasily digestible action plan for another team (e.g.complex media problem intosimple to understand data brief / complex data issue into what it means to media planner)

Experience with Linear TV planning/buying
Experience with Terrestrial Radio planning
Understanding of developing repeatable datasets for automation, taxonomy, and simple data wrangling techniques
Basic SQL experience/ interest

Theannualsalary range for this position is (94,500-120,000).Placement within the salary rangeis based on a variety of factors,including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factorspermittedby law.
