We’re looking for a strategic and media-fluent leader to join our division as a Senior Manager, Media Investment This individual will spearhead and clarify the agency’s cross-client approach to navigating the Standards & Practices (S&P) commercial clearance process for TV, Video, Audio, & Display (TVAD) channels.
In this role, you’ll balance advertising compliance with creative integrity, navigating network feedback for high-profile brands with complex regulatory constraints, including those in telehealth, financial services, alcohol, and sports betting/gambling. As the agency’s senior liaison to network S&P contacts, you will guide both internal and client teams through nuanced policy discussions, helping to shape precedent-setting outcomes that never compromise creative intent or impact. A proven disruptor who challenges convention, you’ll redefine how regulated advertisers show up across national media, finding smarter, more strategic ways to work within and beyond legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the agency’s S&P strategy across assigned clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all creative review and standards discussions with broadcast and streaming partners.
Interpret and challenge S&P feedback with well-reasoned, evidence-based arguments that advocate for client objectives while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Leverage historical learnings to proactively guide future submissions, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and strategic advantage in recurring discussions with networks.
Build and maintain a centralized knowledge base of network interpretations, rulings, and category-specific precedents.
Partner with client, account strategy and media investment teams to anticipate standards challenges early in the creative process, identify compliant solutions, and leverage key account initiatives to inform creative approvals.
Monitor evolving network policies, regulatory developments, and industry codes , particularly within FDA- and FTC-regulated categories.
Provide training, documentation, and strategic counsel to internal teams to enhance agency-wide fluency in S&P requirements.
Represent the agency in conversations where creative, legal, and business interests intersect , ensuring our position is both defensible and forward-looking.
Qualifications
7–10 years of experience in advertising, media, or broadcast commercial clearance operations , with a strong grasp of regulatory and network standards.
Demonstrated experience navigating compliance issues in regulated industries such as Pharma, Healthcare, Financial Services, Alcohol, or Sports Betting.
Strong understanding of the broadcast and streaming ecosystem , including how creative is reviewed, approved, and distributed.
Exceptional analytical and communication skills , with the ability to interpret legal or policy language and synthesize it into actionable recommendations.
Proven ability to build cross-functional alignment and influence across clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Adept at balancing detail-oriented review with strategic foresight and client advocacy.
The hiring salary range for this role is $100,000 - $113,000 plus a discretionary performance bonus. Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, parity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
