Project Budgeting & Approvals
• Lead preparation of detailed project budgets, including CAPEX estimation, cash flow planning, cost breakdowns, and financial forecasting.
• Drive management reviews and presentations for budgetary approvals and financial sanctioning.
• Prepare and present project updates, risk reports, CAPEX justifications, and progress dashboards to senior management for timely approvals and interventions.
• Monitor and control expenditures throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring strict adherence to approved budgets and providing justifications for any variances.
Planning & Coordination
• Lead the development and execution of integrated project schedules, resource allocation plans, and milestone-based tracking systems.
• Facilitate coordination between engineering, production, QA/QC, warehouse, procurement, and finance to ensure seamless interdepartmental communication and execution.
• Ensure effective delegation of responsibilities based on team members' strengths, optimize overall team efficiency, and establish clear accountability across all departments.
Design & Engineering Oversight
• Review, validate, and approve all design deliverables and engineering documents, including:
• URS, DQ, BOQ, and technical specifications
• Layouts, P&IDs, GA drawings, and compliance documentation
• Ensure robust and timely engineering inputs across all major systems, including:
o Civil and Structural Works
o HVAC, Water Systems, and Utilities
o Electrical Power Distribution and Control Systems
o Automation Systems
o Process Equipment
o ETP/STP Systems
o Solvent Storage and Distribution Systems
Vendor & Contractor Management
• Evaluate and finalize specifications, participate in techno-commercial evaluations, and oversee procurement processes.
• Approve vendor selections and manage performance of contractors, consultants, and OEMs.
• Ensure execution of contracts in strict accordance with defined technical specifications, quality benchmarks, project timelines, and approved budgetary provisions.
Construction & Execution Oversight
• Supervise on-site execution across all disciplines, ensuring adherence to design, safety standards, GEP, and project milestones.
• Approve key engineering drawings including GA, P&IDs, SLDs, and load schedules.
• Facilitate issue resolution and implement corrective actions during execution.
