About The Role and Team
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Finance to partner on Performance Marketing through insights-driven analytics, forecasting, and scalable self-serve tools. The ideal candidate brings strong financial analytics expertise with direct exposure to Performance Marketing, supporting the monthly forecasting cadence, budget optimization, and KPI frameworks while unlocking new growth opportunities. This role sets analytical standards in partnership with stakeholders and drives investment governance and automation across Marketing Finance.
Responsibility
- Move beyond the numbers to influence outcomes: partner with key stakeholders to understand the market, business dynamics, and critical messages; translate insights into action.
- Learn quickly, think and communicate clearly, and positively influence decisions across the Performance Marketing organization.
- Lead the Monthly Forecast (M) process: contribute inputs, prepare materials for senior reviews, and highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide concise marketing performance summaries and outlook to Regional CFOs and Marketing leadership.
- Partner with the Analytics team to analyze comprehensive marketing datasets and diagnose root causes of trends; focus on translating insights into business actions and improving spend efficiency.
- Define forecasting frameworks and requirements; partner with the Analytics team to build and maintain models; apply scenario and sensitivity analysis to support investment decisions.
- Communicate business performance metrics clearly, concisely, and insightfully, tailored to executive and cross-functional audiences.
- Develop, refine, and systematize reporting for clarity and accuracy; streamline processes and automate recurring tasks to improve velocity and consistency.
Job Skills required
- Executive communication and influence: proven ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Exposure to new AI capabilities and hands-on experience creating tools, reports, and automation using available platforms.
- Effective team collaborator and contributor; consistently fosters successful cross-functional interactions.
- Domain expertise in Performance Marketing highly desirable (e.g., CLV, ROAS, mROI, payback, incrementality).
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, passion for complex problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Strong business acumen and quantitative analytical capabilities; familiarity with MMM/MTA, experimentation/A-B testing, and causal inference is a plus.
- Data literacy and BI familiarity (e.g., Tableau/Looker/Power BI); strong Excel and PowerPoint; ability to write clear analytical requirements and QA outputs in partnership with the Analytics team. SQL comfort is a plus.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, or related fields; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of hands-on analytics/finance experience with demonstrated financial modeling proficiency; experience manipulating large datasets, interpreting trends, and extracting business insights.
- Experience influencing without formal authority; set standards and conduct QA in partnership with the Analytics team; strong matrix collaboration.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting skills; familiarity with BI tools; SQL is a plus but not required; proven experience partnering closely with Analytics teams.
- Knowledge of AI tools and techniques (e.g., Gemini, GPT, LLMs) and practical application in automation and analytics productization.
- Proven track record partnering with CFOs/Marketing to drive ROI and efficiency through data-driven decisioning.
