What you will do:
As our Senior Manager of Marketing Communications, you will lead integrated marketing communications that build brand preference, support commercialization and enable the sales organization through differentiated messaging, integrated campaigns and compelling content. Partners across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs and Communications to translate customer insights, competitive intelligence and business strategy into communications that engage customers, strengthen brand equity and drive measurable business impact.
• Interpret and coach team on the use of competitive insights to shape communication strategy
• Write, coach team, and gain organizational alignment on key communication documents: business reviews, marketing strategies, proposals and recommendations
• Empower the team to create and anticipate marketing communication strategies that understand, develop, and enhance the relationship between the customer and the product or portfolio
• Lead and coach the team to develop and execute impactful strategies and plans to achieve marketing and business objectives
• Provide clear, strategic and prioritized communication to the field sales organization through written/verbal communications, presentations and informal interactions
• Lead, develop and execute communication strategies that drive the strategic plan for the product and/or portfolio and coach team on initiation, development and execution of communication channels & strategies
• Leverage existing marketing channel strategies, initiate new channels and make strategic channel decisions based upon ROI while tracking the impact
• Educate team on writing projects with varying levels of associates and management; consult others on developing and editing large documents and documentation projects
• Lead discussions about style and tone differences of press releases, marketing brochures and newsletters
• Coach team on new ways of building creative; Consistent pulse on industry trends to ensure brand is up-to-speed on all-things creative
• Develop presentation objectives and organize key topics, speaking points, materials, and flow
• Determine cost-effective design alternatives to maximize budget
• Obtain continued pulse on industry trends/shows/events
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years of Communications/Marketing work experience required
2+ years of people management/prior supervisory experience is needed for this role.
Preferred:
MBA preferred
4+ years of people management experience strongly preferred
7+ years medical device experience
Vascular experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
