(Senior) Manager, Marketing & Communications (Event & PR) (HK$50-75K)

The company is a significant corporation headquartered in Hong Kong, actively involved in numerous retail projects and initiatives in both Hong Kong and China. They are currently in search of a highly skilled individual to serve as Marketing & Communications (Senior) Manager, responsible for managing the marketing and public relations efforts for their prestigious shopping mall situated in Hong Kong. As a (Senior) Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Marketing and lead 1-2 professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of 1-2 professionals responsible for executing on-ground events and PR strategies

• Manage relationships with external agencies handling social media and digital marketing initiatives

• Develop and implement comprehensive event calendars and promotional campaigns to drive footfall and enhance the mall's brand image

• Devise effective PR strategies, including media relations, influencer / KOL outreach, and community engagement

• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and strategies

• Collaborate cross-functionally with the leasing, operations, and other departments to ensure a cohesive tenant and customer experience

• Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources

• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging best practices to continuously innovate the mall's marketing approach

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

• 8-10 years of experience in a similar role within the retail/shopping mall industry

• Candidates from PR / integrated marketing communications agencies are highly encouraged to apply

• Proven track record in planning and executing successful marketing communications campaigns and events

• Strong project management and team leadership skills

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

• Proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting

• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
