Job Purpose

The Senior Manage - Market Enablement is responsible for developing and executing strategies, processes, tools and programmes that enable the organisation's client-facing teams to effectively engage target markets, drive revenue growth and enhance client experience. The role acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, ensuring that sales, business development and marketing teams have the insights, resources and capabilities required to achieve commercial objectives.

The role combines strategic planning with operational delivery, leading initiatives that improve market positioning, increase business development effectiveness and support sustainable growth across priority sectors, services and client segments.

Key Responsibilities

Market Enablement Strategy

• Develop and implement the market enablement strategy in alignment with business and commercial objectives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify growth opportunities across markets, sectors and service lines.
• Translate business priorities into actionable enablement plans and initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and client needs to inform strategic decision-making.

Sales and Business Development Enablement

• Design and deliver programmes that improve the effectiveness of sales and business development teams.
• Develop frameworks, tools, methodologies and resources to support client engagement and pipeline growth.
• Drive consistency in sales approaches, qualification processes and opportunity management.
• Support strategic pursuits, major bids and key client account initiative Content, Insights and Resources
• Oversee the development and management of market-facing content, collateral and thought leadership materials.
• Ensure teams have access to relevant market intelligence, client insights and competitive information.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create compelling value propositions and messaging.

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, service line heads and business development teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor on market enablement and commercial effectiveness.
• Facilitate collaboration across marketing, business development, operations and client service functions.
• Influence stakeholders to drive adoption of new processes and ways of working.

Performance and Continuous Improvement

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of enablement initiatives.
• Analyse data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems and ways of working.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership.

People Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing market enablement team member.
• Create a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability.
• Support workforce planning, talent development and succession planning activities.
• Manage team objectives, performance reviews and professional development plans.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential

• Significant experience in marketing, business development, commercial operations, sales enablement or market enablement.
• Experience operating in a senior management role within a professional services, consulting or corporate environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of client acquisition and growth strategies.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and business transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven experience managing and developing teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience of CRM, sales enablement and marketing automation platforms.
• Knowledge of professional services markets and client relationship management.
• Project or change management qualifications
