
Role Purpose
The Senior Manager / Manager, Strategy & Operations supports the development and execution of Group-wide strategic initiatives, corporate transformation programmes and operational excellence initiatives.
Working closely with EXCO, Business Line CEOs and Corporate Functions, the role is responsible for driving strategic planning, coordinating cross-functional programmes, monitoring execution and delivering high-impact outcomes across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Business Development
Support the development and execution of the Group's strategic priorities and business plans.
Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking and strategic assessments to support decision-making.
Develop business cases, financial analyses and recommendations for strategic initiatives, investments and growth opportunities.
Strategy Execution & Transformation
Lead and support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, including AI, portfolio optimisation, operating model transformation, productivity improvement and business performance enhancement.
Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and monitor programme delivery.
Drive implementation of strategic initiatives across Business Lines and Corporate Functions.
Performance Management
Monitor strategic KPIs and business performance against agreed targets.
Develop management dashboards and reports for EXCO and the Board.
Identify implementation risks and recommend corrective actions to improve execution.
Corporate Governance
Prepare Board, EXCO and senior management papers, presentations and briefing materials.
Coordinate strategic reviews, workshops and governance meetings.
Track key decisions, action items and implementation progress.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with Business Line CEOs, Corporate Functions and external stakeholders to deliver strategic priorities.
Facilitate cross-functional discussions and build alignment across the organisation.
Support senior leadership in driving enterprise-wide initiatives and organisational change.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline.
Manager: 5–8 years' relevant experience in Strategy, Consulting, Corporate Development, Business Transformation or Project Management.
Senior Manager: 8–12 years' relevant experience with demonstrated leadership in enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and transformation programmes.
Strong analytical, commercial and financial acumen.
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Strong project and programme management capabilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple strategic priorities in a fast-paced environment.
