Today, we’re leading the way in mining and civil blasting through innovation, automation, and a commitment to safety and respect for the lands and waters where we operate.
As Orica continues to invest in and expand its global manufacturing network, we are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Major Manufacturing Projects to join our Global Manufacturing team.
Reporting to the General Manager – Global Manufacturing Projects, this role is accountable for the successful delivery of some of Orica’s most complex and strategically important capital projects across our global manufacturing portfolio.
Operating across Australia, North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia, you will provide leadership across a portfolio of some of Orica's largest and most strategically important manufacturing projects, including major brownfield expansions, manufacturing upgrades, capital investment programs and the integration of newly acquired manufacturing operations.
This is a delivery-focused leadership role with accountability for project outcomes from concept through to commissioning and close-out. Leading through dedicated Orica Project Managers and specialist delivery teams, you will ensure safe, predictable and value-driven execution while navigating significant technical, operational and stakeholder complexity across multiple regions and manufacturing environments.
The scale and diversity of the portfolio provide a unique opportunity to influence some of the largest and most technically challenging projects across Orica’s global manufacturing footprint, while helping accelerate growth, improve asset performance and support the successful integration of acquisitions.
Location is flexible across Australia, with base location in Brisbane, Newcastle, Melbourne or Perth, together with regular travel to project sites and manufacturing operations
At Orica, we believe in growing together. You’ll learn from experienced mentors, work in a team that values respect for people and the land, and build a career in a safe, supportive environment.
