Wood is recruiting for a Senior Manager Maintenance, APAC to join our team in Perth CBD. This is a permanent role available on a full-time / part-time (job share) basis, and a senior regional leadership position responsible for the functional leadership, performance and governance of Maintenance across the Asia Pacific region.
In this highly visible regional role, you will provide functional leadership for Maintenance across APAC, covering multiple countries and all maintenance personnel operating within a matrix organisational structure. You will drive and assure delivery excellence, safety, cost efficiency and client satisfaction across all maintenance activity in the region.
You will be accountable for the functional management and development of maintenance resources, governance of maintenance practices, systems and procedures, and have functional oversight of the performance of all maintenance activity across APAC.

Reporting to the Vice President, Technical, APAC, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Maintenance function across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient delivery of maintenance services aligned to business and client objectives.

Your key responsibilities are:
Maintenance Strategy, Performance & Risk Provide regional leadership to drive HSSEA performance and safe, compliant delivery of maintenance activities across all APAC operations. Ensure maintenance scopes, contracts and proposals are appropriately resourced, commercially optimised and delivered in line with contractual and company requirements. Lead the development and continual optimisation of maintenance systems, processes and practices to enhance reliability, productivity and margin performance.
People, Capability & Resourcing: Provide line management and functional leadership to the APAC maintenance workforce, setting a clear vision and strategic direction for the function. Determine current and future capability requirements, overseeing recruitment, succession planning, competence assurance and career development frameworks. Lead the effective deployment of maintenance resources across contracts and projects, fostering an inclusive, high‑performance culture.
Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Develop, embed and maintain regional maintenance governance, processes and procedures aligned to Wood’s global standards and policies. Ensure effective use and continuous optimisation of maintenance systems, tools and data to support consistent delivery excellence. Monitor performance, participate in assurance and proposal reviews, and intervene where risks or improvement opportunities are identified.

Expected:
You must be able to work lawfully in Australia and hold full working rights. Candidates with visa applications in progress are encouraged to apply.
Ideally you will have 20+years proven experience leading Maintenance functions at a regional or multi‑country level, within complex, safety‑critical operating environments (Oil & Gas / Mining / Heavy Industrial). Degree-qualified (Engineering or equivalent) is preferred with other qualifications also considered.
