We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager – Lung Cancer Program to join our Clinical Programs team. Based in Brisbane, with Melbourne or Sydney also considered, this is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Lung Foundation Australia’s Lung Cancer Program.
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager – Clinical Programs, Research & Innovation, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across LFA’s Lung Cancer Program, with responsibility for program strategy, performance, funding, partnerships and sustainability.
You will directly lead key initiatives including the Specialist Lung Cancer Nurse Program, Australian Cancer Nurse Navigator Program and Australian and New Zealand Lung Cancer Nurses Forum, while bringing together expertise from across LFA to drive an integrated approach to lung cancer care and system improvement.

Knowledge of lung cancer care, models of care, health policy, workforce development or the broader cancer sector will be highly regarded; however, we also welcome candidates who can rapidly develop this knowledge and bring strong transferable program leadership experience.
