
We’re seeking for a capable Legal Manager to oversee all legal, compliance, and regulatory matters of the Company in Vietnam, ensuring that business operations are conducted in full compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
This role provides strategic legal leadership, enhances the effectiveness of the legal function, and supports business growth through practical and solution-oriented advice. The Legal Manager will play a key role in data protection governance, internal approval systems, and digital transformation (DX) initiatives, and collaborating with regional and global legal teams as well as external counsel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Legal Advisory & Business Support
Provide strategic, practical, and risk-balanced legal advice to internal stakeholders (Sales, HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
Support complex or high-impact business projects and transactions
Proactively identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies
Compliance & Regulatory
Oversee and strengthen compliance framework in line with Vietnamese laws and group policies, including Code of Conduct, Anti-bribery, Anti-trust, etc.
Ensure effective implementation of internal policies, procedures and controls
Lead or support internal compliance review, audits and regulatory inspections
Licensing & Corporate Governance
Oversee licensing, permits, and corporate filings required to the Company and all branches to ensure business continuity (ERC, IRC, Business Licenses, Trading Licenses for Cryptography products, act.)
Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements
Provide guidance on complex regulatory matters
Enhance and manage the internal legal and compliance approval system, including alignment with group-level approval workflows, FUJIFILM Holding’s communication matrix and governance requirements
Data Protection & PDPO Role
Act as member of PDPO function
Ensure compliance with Vietnam’s data protection regulations and group standards
Advise on data privacy risks, data processing activities, and cross-border data transfers
Support implementation of data protection frameworks and awareness initiatives
Regional & Global Stakeholder Management
Serve as the key interface with regional and global legal teams, ensuring alignment between local practices and group standards
Contribute to regional/global projects requiring Vietnam legal input
Manage and coordinate with external law firms and advisors, including cost control and quality assurance
Team Leadership & Collaboration & DX
Foster a collaborative and high-performing legal function aligned with business objectives
Provide leadership and direction to continuously enhance the quality, efficiency, and impact of legal support
Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the legal function
Continuously enhance current contract generation system to fit business needs and drive DX initiatives to improve efficiency and transparency of legal operation.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB); Master’s degree is a plus
Licensed lawyer in Vietnam is a plus
Experience:
8-10 years in legal roles, preferably MNC or reputable law firm
Strong experience in corporate, commercial, and compliance matters, knowledge in printing and/or document management and/or business solution industry is a plus.
Experience for M&A project is a plus
Proven experience working with regional/global stakeholders and cross-border matters
Familiarity with data protection regulations is a strong advantage
Experience working with external counsel
