Candidates must currently reside in Chicago area market and be willing to travel 50-75% of the month.

The Sr. Manager, Legacy Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for driving continued growth, penetration, and performance across Clearwave Fiber’s established legacy markets. This leader owns field sales execution in business-as-usual areas, ensuring sustained customer acquisition, operational discipline, and long-term market penetration.

The Sr. Manager, Legacy Sales leads Area Managers and Sr. Supervisors assigned to legacy markets and is accountable for maintaining strong field leadership, consistent execution standards, and predictable sales performance across mature territories.

Primary Objective

Drive sustained penetration and revenue growth in legacy markets by leading disciplined field sales execution, developing strong frontline leadership, and optimizing performance across established territories.

Key Responsibilities

Legacy Market Sales Ownership

Own end-to-end sales performance across assigned legacy markets, ensuring consistent attainment of monthly and quarterly penetration and revenue targets. Drive execution strategies that maximize growth in mature territories.

Field Leadership and Execution

Lead field sales efforts across BAU markets, ensuring activity standards, territory coverage, and conversion performance remain strong and consistent. Maintain high execution discipline across all markets.

Leadership and Team Oversight

Directly lead Area Managers and Sr. Supervisors responsible for legacy markets. Ensure leaders are effectively coaching their teams, holding performance standards, and driving accountability at all levels.

Performance Management and Accountability

Establish clear performance expectations and KPIs for legacy markets. Monitor results closely, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to protect market penetration and revenue goals.

Data, Reporting, and Forecasting

Analyze market-level performance data, penetration trends, and activity metrics to guide strategy and resource allocation. Provide accurate forecasts, insights, and performance updates to senior leadership.

Operational Excellence in BAU Markets

Ensure consistent execution of Clearwave Fiber’s sales processes, reporting standards, and field expectations across all legacy markets. Partner with Sales Operations and Enablement to optimize tools, territory models, and workflows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Experience, and Construction teams to support retention, expansion opportunities, and improved customer acquisition in legacy markets.

Talent Development and Bench Strength

Support leader development and succession planning across legacy markets. Ensure strong hiring practices, onboarding, and ongoing development to maintain a high-performing field organization.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve sales efficiency, conversion rates, and customer experience in legacy markets. Contribute best practices and insights to evolve Clearwave Fiber’s BAU sales model.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in direct sales or telecommunications
  • Proven success leading multi-market, BAU sales operations
  • Strong experience managing Area Managers and Sr. Supervisors
  • Data-driven leader with strong forecasting and performance management skills
  • Operationally disciplined with a focus on scalable execution
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence across leadership levels
