/PURPOSE
Sr. Manager, Construction Management to lead a high-performing team of construction professionals in the successful execution of capital projects. This position manages construction activities for all Segment 4 projects ($100M and greater) that are typically at the $250M level with or without Customer Focus. May manage a portfolio of projects between $250M to $1.5B with or without Customer Focus. Bonafide leader of people who is widely respected and trusted by Entergy's Contract Partners and possess the ability to quickly understand construction culture while mentoring others on effective construction leadership. Strong advocate for the partnering process and continuous improvement.
This position will be strategically dedicated to a business unit portfolio of transmission and distribution projects aimed at delivering projects and holding safety as a top priority. Leverage team expertise to optimize portfolio execution to exceed internal, customer, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a competitive edge with operational efficiency. The candidate will lead a team of direct, matrixed, and contract resources in the safe execution of the program with high quality. Ensure that the projects are staffed with qualified construction management professionals and field personnel for the oversight of construction contractors and their subcontractors. The candidate will collaborate closely with major stakeholders, including contractors and support teams at Entergy. The candidate must actively promote workplace safety, participate in site safety initiatives, and help foster a strong safety culture.
