Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Department

The IT Change Department is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of all IT change initiatives, whether using agile or waterfall methodologies. It is supported by a robust IT Change Management Office (CMO), which oversees the entire process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Key responsibilities of the IT change department:

The Job

• Lead the strategy, implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle ERP and related enterprise applications to meet business and technology objectives
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, and other business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, digital transformation, and operational efficiency
• Drive the end-to-end delivery of ERP projects and system enhancements, ensuring solutions are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Oversee solution design and integration architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and industry best practice
• Manage application vendors, system integrators, and support partners to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance with contractual and service level commitments
• Provide expert guidance on Oracle ERP capabilities and business processes, particularly in Finance, Procurement, Projects, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Contract Management domains
• Manage end-to-end project management including time and resource planning, execution, governance, stakeholder management, costing and project reporting
• Proactively identify, assess, and communicate compelx project and operational risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business users, IT teams, and external partners to drive successful project outcomes and sustainable business values

About You

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oracle ERP implementation and support, preferably covering Finance and Procurement domains
• Minimum 5 years in leadership experience in ERP solution management
• Strong knowledge of finance and procurement business processes
• Experience leading mid-to-large-scale ERP or package-based system implementation projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and post-go-live support
• Proven experience in vendor management
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex business and technical issues and recommend practical solutions
• Proficiency in writing, presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Oracle ERP Application knowledge and architecture
• Proven experience in implementing, enhancing, and supporting cloud-based and on-premises ERP solutions, particularly across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Projects, and Fixed Assets domains.
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration architecture, including APIs, middleware, workflow solutions, and integration
• Enterprise document management and workflow solutions
• Microsoft Office applications and Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
