About us

We aspire to deliver value in global supply chains by living our values around people, partners and the planet. As new technologies disrupt the way consumers and businesses interact, Li & Fung is reimagining and creating supply chains for the future. Through our innovative products and end-to-end supply chain solutions, we aim to expand the realm of what is possible and create more value for more players along the supply chain.

With our entrepreneurial spirit, we are using digital technologies to speed collaboration, drive innovation and enhance sustainability. Our values form the basis of our culture, our brand and our business strategies. They define how we engage with our colleagues, with our customers and suppliers, our shareholders, and the communities in which we live and work.

We are looking for a confident and experienced Senior Manager – IT Portfolio & Transformation Delivery to join us in the Portfolio Management Office (“PMO”)!

Why this role matters

This is a high-impact PMO leadership role at the core of our AI and digital transformation agenda. You will own the IT project portfolio and drive key transformation initiatives from enterprise AI applications and data platforms to intelligent supply chain and automation. If you excel at turning strategy into execution, influencing senior stakeholders, shaping a PMO that accelerates delivery, this is where you will make your impact.

Here is what you need to know about this role:

Drive High-Impact Transformation Projects

  • Lead AI and digital transformation initiatives, including enterprise AI applications, data platforms, intelligent supply chain, automation, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

  • Manage projects end-to-end: scope, planning, budget, risks, milestones, and outcomes.

  • Partner closely with IT, operations, finance, legal, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.

  • Resolve cross-regional and cross-functional issues and maintain project momentum.

  • Ensure delivery of measurable business value than technical completion.

Own IT Portfolio & Project Governance

  • Maintain a clear, accurate view of the IT project portfolio—progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery health.

  • Drive portfolio prioritization, risk management, issue escalation, and change control.

  • Prepare and facilitate portfolio reviews and governance forums with senior leadership.

  • Ensure transparency, consistency, and decision readiness across the portfolio.

Build a Modern, Value-Driven PMO

  • Establish and continuously enhance PMO standards, templates, and ways of working.

  • Apply suitable project methodologies—Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid—pragmatically.

  • Consolidate complex project information into clear, concise executive reporting.

  • Coach project managers to strengthen delivery quality and consistency.

  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and outcome-focused execution.

What success looks like

  • Senior leaders have confidence and clarity in the IT delivery portfolio.

  • Projects are prioritized, governed, and delivered with discipline and transparency.

  • Teams spend less time on reporting and more time on execution.

  • The PMO is recognized as a trusted delivery partner, not an administrative function.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, AI, Data Science, Project Management, or related disciplines.

  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent certification preferred.

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management, PMO, or related portfolio‑level management and governance roles.

  • Proven experience delivering AI, data, or enterprise digital transformation projects.

  • Strong understanding of modern technologies such as AI/ML, generative AI, data platforms, automation, or RPA while delivery fluency is essential.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional and senior stakeholders.

Ways of Working

  • Pragmatic, proactive, and outcome-driven; adaptable when needed

  • Able to operate independently and influence without formal authority.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to zoom out for executive-level discussions.

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
