Job Description

The Senior Manager, Business Relationship Management (BRM) – Real Estate acts as a strategic partner and liaison between the real estate business units and internal/external stakeholders. This role is responsible for driving value, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that business objectives are met through effective relationship management, strategic planning, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership & Value Delivery
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between real estate business units and IT, finance, procurement, and other support functions.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to align real estate strategies with organizational goals and drive value creation.
    • Break down silos between departments to optimize cross-functional effectiveness and jointly determine strategic direction
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, vendors, and partners.
    • Understand business needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
    • Act as an advocate for the business unit, ensuring their requirements are understood and addressed by support teams.
  • Project & Portfolio Oversight
    • Oversee the delivery of real estate projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with project managers, technical teams, and vendors to resolve issues and drive project success.
    • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Market & Trend Analysis
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the real estate sector.
    • Provide strategic advice to business units based on market insights and data analysis.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization, digital transformation, and innovation within real estate operations.
    • Lead initiatives to implement best practices and new technologies that enhance business performance
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure all activities comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, contracts, and service level agreements as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in business relationship management, account management, or a similar role within the real estate sector.
  • Proven track record of successful client relationship management and project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics, trends, and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Yardi is a preference
