Job Description

About the Role

  • Location: Petersburg, VA, US (on-site)
  • Lead IT/OT systems staff for automation, infrastructure, security, networking, and compliance in a pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing environment
  • Champion cGMP compliance and regulatory requirements (GAMP5, 21CFR11)
  • Coach and mentor direct reports and develop a high-performing cross-functional IT/OT team

Essential Functions

  • Develop strategic direction for IT/OT assets, monitoring advancements in the industry
  • Ensure IT/OT systems available, capable, and accessible to meet production requirements
  • Build and develop a strong, high performing cross-functional team
  • Manage departmental training, development, coaching, performance, and recruitment
  • Collaborate with Site Leadership on workload solutions and IT/OT resource prioritization

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, or applicable technical degree required
  • 7+ years IT/OT systems management, automation, or security experience
  • 3+ years supervisory/team leadership experience required
  • GAMP5, 21CFR11 compliance experience required
  • Pharma/chemical manufacturing background preferred
  • Knowledge of MES, SQL, Oracle a plus
