The Senior Manager, Investment Oversight contributes to the oversight of all assets under management for Scotiabank’s Canadian Asset Management arm as well as supporting oversight efforts for Scotiabank’s international asset management companies. They will work with a team of professionals and present results and findings to committees and senior executives, ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed and delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
Provide strategic and tactical direction for the oversight of all investment products offered through 1832 Asset Management and its portfolio advisors, with direct accountability to senior management, Investment Committee and the Independent Review Committee including:
Lead ongoing development and delivery of detailed investment analyses and insight, as well as accurate and timely performance reporting, for both internal and external audiences, and collaborate with product, marketing and communications teams to provide key insights from oversight activities including:
Manage all sub advisor relationships including contract negotiation, service level commitments, fee discrepancy resolutions, and reporting needs
Lead and drive a customer focused culture throughout the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
