About the Role

Join us as Senior Manager, Investment Marketing at AIA Investment Management!

We are seeking for a Senior Manager to be part of our Investment Marketing team to drive the growth and success of AIA’s investment-linked, funds, and pension business across 18 markets by leading product innovation, marketing, business development, and capability-building initiatives. Leveraging AIA Group’s resources and strategic partnerships with leading global institutional investment managers, the incumbent will enhance product adoption, elevate investment competencies, and support sustainable growth in assets under management through innovative strategies, impactful marketing programs, and best-in-class training and sales enablement.

Responsibilities

• Grow AUM of unit linked funds, pension and collective investment schemes (“Investment Products”) across all AIA markets.
• Develop and drive Investment Products innovation, marketing and training initiatives across all AIA markets.
• Ensure the marketing and training needs of local business units in relation to Investment Products are adequately met.
• Centralize and coordinate the development and management of sales, marketing and training infrastructure as well as collaterals to ensure consistency of messaging across AIA markets including:
  • Tools and client interfaces for Investment Product marketing, reporting and training,
  • Manage fund factsheet production,
  • Create pitchbooks/marketing decks,
  • Materials for agency and investor education, investment training and market updates
  • Participate and present in investment trainings, events and seminars
• Have a firm understanding and grasp of local business units’ requirements and constraints.
• Keep abreast of the competition and industry developments. Evaluate and provide regular reports on competitors' activities and industry developments.

Requirements

• At least 8 years or more relevant experience in the asset management industry, with frontline experience in financial markets, investment advisory, sales, marketing and training.
• Energetic and excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships across the business, operations and internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrates strategic foresight and a forward-looking mindset, partnering business units to create sustainable impact and drive long-term success.
• Experience in working across teams and functions to identify, solve and implement solutions.
• In depth knowledge of global macro markets, mutual fund products and working knowledge of regulatory environment in Asia.
• Degree in Business / Finance / Economics, ideally with relevant professional qualifications such as CFA.
• Proficient with MS Powerpoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Bloomberg, media tools
• A strong and effective communicator with ability to present impactfully to large audiences.
