Manager International Operations

Location: Pasadena, CA

Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 Base Salary

Overview

Seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee International Trade Finance Operations within a commercial banking environment. This role will lead trade operations teams, ensure regulatory compliance, manage operational risk, and support the delivery of complex international banking products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily International Operations and Trade Finance activities.
• Oversee Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, and Supply Chain Finance products.
• Manage and develop operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with UCP 600, ISP98, URC 522, BSA/AML, OFAC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Credit, Treasury, Compliance, Risk, and Relationship Management teams.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, quality standards, and risk controls.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, International Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of International Banking or Trade Finance Operations experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing trade finance or international operations teams.
• Strong expertise in:
• Letters of Credit (LCs)
• Documentary Collections
• Supply Chain Finance
• Trade Finance Credit Facilities
• Cross-Border Banking Operations
• Credit Administration and Risk Management
• Extensive knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, and international trade regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• CDCS Certification preferred.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred.
• Commercial banking experience supporting international trade finance operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $180000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
